To help raise the academic achievement of children of east African heritage both in the UK and in east Africa. To promote tolerance, respect and understanding of others' properties, opinions and affiliations. To provide free or affordable and quality education to disadvantaged youth, children and adults in east Africa; and to promote peace through the provisions of educational opportunities and research.

Vision:

 EARAD's vision is to help eradicate ignorance among youths. By eradicating ignorance, the sources of derpair, hunger, destruction, exploitation and extremism are eliminated.
