Welcome to EARAD

East African Research and Development (EARAD) is a UK registered charity (1144089) that aims to help raise the academic achievement of children of east African heritage in the UK. The charity aims to achieve this by providing advice, guidance and support on education to parents and carers. Also, EARAD aims to reduce ignorance by providing educational opportunities to children, young people and adults from disadvantaged communities in east Africa. The charity works to achieve this throught the development and rehabilitation of schools as well as through sponsorship programs.

Similarly, the charity works with other educational institutions e.g. universities and colleges to provide educational opportunities to those less well-off. EARAD believes that education is the natural right of every child, regardless of nationality, age, gender, colour or creed. Also, the charity aims to promote research on educational and social issues for the enhancement of public awareness.
